I started Lost Relic Cards to fill a gap I kept running into: original-era Pokémon cards are hard to find in Australia at a fair price.

Why this exists

American shops have stacks of Base Set Charizards. Australian shops have whatever happened to land that week. The price difference is brutal, and the choice is thin.

So I'm bringing them in. Sourced from Europe, graded honestly, listed individually, and shipped tracked from Geelong. Original-era Pokémon — 1999 through to the late 2000s.

What you see is what you get

Every card is photographed individually before it's listed. Not a stock image, not the manufacturer's reference scan — the actual card you'll receive, captured at high resolution on a flatbed scanner.

If the corners are sharp, you'll see sharp corners. If there's edge wear, you'll see edge wear. With vintage cards, no two are identical, and you shouldn't have to take anyone's word for the condition.

Honest grading

I grade conservatively. If a card sits between Lightly Played and Moderately Played, I list it as MP. You should receive cards in equal or better condition than the listing describes — never worse.

Built quietly, automated quietly

This has been a coding project I've been working on for a while. Receiving, scanning, identifying, storing, listing — most of it runs through software I wrote myself, on a Mac quietly humming in a workshop in Geelong.

No AI in the loop. No chatbots writing card descriptions, no generated images. Just classical software doing the work that would otherwise take me hours of clicking each day. That leaves me free for the parts that need judgment — sourcing the right cards, grading honestly, and answering messages personally.

Shipping

Every card ships tracked from Geelong. $3.50 AUD for tracked letter (up to a few cards), $9.50 AUD for tracked parcel. If something goes wrong in transit, I'll work with you to make it right.
